Your business, your reference data

It might sound simple but every metals business has different things they care about and we want to enable tailoring the app to suit your business as simple as possible.

When you first get a company space on the app, it handily comes with our reference data. This might be good enough for you and you can get started with 0 configuration, but we know you might want to rapidly start customising things.

Now, we offer a company data section of the app where you can configure things. Our first area of configuration is inventory materials and types.

To customise what you and your colleagues can use, you can get started in three ways.

1. Import our reference data - great for if you've already been using it for a while
2. Start from scratch - great if you only have a few values and want to enter them manually
3. Import from CSV - starting with our template (which gives you all the reference data) you can take your existing list from elsewhere and use it as the config instantly on GoSmarter
