Track your scrap

Scrap is often put in a bin and forgotten about until the bin is overflowing. However, good tracking of it helps you understand which of your processes have th emost associated waste. With GoSmarter you now have two ways of tracking scrap depending on your needs.

1. Track scrap in inventory - this allows you to keep product lineage and info like supplier if you keep scrap well seperated. This is excellent when you want to be able to perform detailed analysis against orders etc. longer term.
2. Track batches of scrap - if you have dedicated bins that all scrap gets put into you can use our scrap logger to track scrap by weight change. This helps you analyse it at a high level and minimises admin.
